San Isidro
San Isidro was once a sitio of barrio Sikitan. The first settlers of the area were Cebuanos and Boholanos. Having been very religious, they
established a church bearing the name San Isidro which also why the place was named the same in honor of their patron Saint. In 1959, Mayor Alfonso Angeles, Sr., declared to make it a regular barrio through resolution no. 50, appointing G.
Patrocenio Chavez as the first Tenyente Del Barrio in 1962. The first formally elected Tenyente del Barrio of San Isidro was Martin Guillano.
