Balabag

Barangay Balabag is located at the foot of a considerable size had height of bill the mountain range of Mt. Apo and there is also a brook beside the hill which the native called

Balabag. Balabag literally means hindrance or “pagbabag.” The first settlers were the Adang’s and Bangcas’ family, followed by Christian Settlers. It became a regular barrio through Provincial Board Resolution No. 580, series of 1966. Its first Lieutenant was Romualdo Castillon, Sr.
