Sometimes in 1948, a Philantrophist and likewise the founder of the Philippine Crusader World Army Mission (MONCADO),
Rev. Father Maximino S. Guibernas, visited this very rolling and hilly place. The founder thought that this place is a holy place God made. To him, it is in this place that God the Father lived. He believed that this is really Zion, a holy place in the Bible. Because of his strong belief, he informed his people and followers to come with him to settle in the area. They put-up a very big house made of round wood and cogon materials where all of his followers would stay. And likewise construct a church nearby for them to worship. Every time he has a dialogue with his people, he always told them “I am your Ama, and this is Zion, a holy place.” Since then, the people, especially the old and exceptional people, would say … Ama – Zion, until later on they were trained and used to be called people of AMAZION.
