Sumbac
In the early Pre-war and liberation of Second World War the place was part of Kalaisan. The Tribal Manobos and Bagobos called it “Alimokon” or Dove because of their belief that the birds could help them in many ways of cultural problems. Aside from it the forest is the shelter of many flocks of doves and beautiful birds. The Christian Pioneers called it “Ciento Dose” or block 112 while others called it “New Sevilla Bohol” being an organizer of religious family who built the Catholic Chapel whose Patron Saint was Birhen Sa Guadalupe which they celebrate Patronal Fiesta until now. Many people suggested Petitions and Resolutions for creation of the barrio. So the people consulted Kalaisan Barrio Officials for the objective. They agreed with no objection as long as the petitions are more than five hundred
(500) families. On October 20, 1950 the people made a resolution and petition with boundaries of Block 221-222 from Kalaisan while Junction is Latian Creek and Amazion is Lika Creek to M’lang Boundary.
