Kalasuyan

On August 1, 1969, the people of Kalasuyan petitioned the Municipal Council of Kidapawan to make their sitio into a regular barrio. Atty. Wilfredo Jalipa and Mr. Aproniano

Borja presented the petition to the council. On August 5, 1969, the Municipal Council and Mayor Emma B. Gadi approved the said petition, making Sitio Kalasuyan into a regular barrio with Resolution No. 89 series of 1969. On March 11, 1970, the Provincial Board of Cotabato whose office is at Pagalungan approved Resolution No. 96 with the help of Vice Governor Alfonso Angeles. Inhabitants of the place are mostly Visayan mixed with Manobos, Muslims and Luzon migrants.
